Commercial Description:
A finely-bubbled beer made from wheat and barley. Like the traditional Belgian "White" it is refreshing, light and slightly fruity. Bottle refermentation imparts a yeast enriched flavor.

Not to be confused with the separate Blanche made by the brewpub Cheval Blanc.

New bottles do not feature "de blé" anymore, but simply La Blanche and Cheval Blanc.

Drank in a pint glass. Hazy bright golden poor with a thin white head. Aromas of bananas, lemon tarts and lightly spiced. Flavors are predominant of tropical fruits almost... Light bodied yet still somewhat creamy palate. Perfect bitterness for this type of beer and lightly sweetened.

341 mL bottle. Semi-transparent gold in colour with very little head. Smells of grass and spices; the usual wheat beer aroma with perhaps more grain than usual. The usual taste as well, although perhaps a little sweet. Mouthfeel is a little thin and grainy. Not bad, for a North American brewery.

Bottle sample- Hazy yellow pour, thick foamy white cap. Cirtus and yeasty aroma, lemon zest, wheat and some honey. Tastes semi-sweet, lemony, citric acid, fresh leafy greens. A little too much carbonation to make it overly drinkable.

Cloudy dirty yellow with a rapidly receding head. Brisk carbonation. Wheaty with a touch of sweet spices, but a bit faint in the flavour department and thin in the body. Average for the style.

Light creamy yellow-white colour. Light white head. Very faint aroma. Watery wheaty favour. Very mellow. Light carbonation in the mouth.
