Commercial Description:
A finely-bubbled beer made from wheat and barley. Like the traditional Belgian "White" it is refreshing, light and slightly fruity. Bottle refermentation imparts a yeast enriched flavor.

Not to be confused with the separate Blanche made by the brewpub Cheval Blanc.

New bottles do not feature "de blé" anymore, but simply La Blanche and Cheval Blanc.

Hope this is the same beer as the label is now very different. Its white and features a horses head and says "La Blanche Cheval Blanc". This is a nicely made belgian white style which is sweet and fruity. The tastes emphasizes the wheat but clearly has malted barley as well. Overall the taste is sweet (no real hop character) and is light and refreshing. Clarity is cloudy.

Bottle - June 2006 Pours a turbid yellow color with a medium to small white head. Aroma is very citric, with some yeastyness. Taste is citric, acidic, somewhat watery and thin, almost unspiced, medium carbonatation and refreshing, but lacks something. Very light palate and no aftertaste. Bland, too neutral. Maybe it doesn´t travels well, maybe the couple of weeks I lef it in the fridge affected the taste.

Pours light golden and cloudy with a fully receding white head. Aroma of funky orange peel, sour cherries, very ’Belgian’ yeast perhaps with a few critters roaming around. Taste is lightly fruity but a very neutral finish makes me suspect that there is a little bit of brett in here. The wheat also does its part in making this beer very mellow and easy to drink. That being said, the taste is a bit bit disappointing compared to the aroma. Mouthfeel is full bodied with lively carbonation. This has a nice yeasty character, but the beer is a bit too neutral to be truly enjoyable.

Hazy light yellow color. Aroma is yeasty with some citrus peel. Refreshing flavor with a lively feel. Domaniantly yeast and citrus spritz. Not bad at all.

341ml bottle, poured an hazy and pale yellow colour with a thick creamy white head. The aroma is banana, citrus, honey, wheat and yeast. The taste is really similar to the aroma, a good wheat flavor, with citrus and banana.

Pretty Good beer. Clear aroma, soft but conforting flavor and a rich palate. This is a beer that I will try again. My next beer, for comparison, will be la Blanche de Chambly just to see which one I preffer.

une tres bonne blanche, surement la meilleure produite au quebec. un petit gout de fruit, juste le bon dosage de ses composantes qui lui donne une touche magique. en conclusion, a gouter au moins 3 fois dans sa vie
