Flavor dominated by spices (clove) and citrus. Respectable bitter but short final. This is no match to those from the "major leagues" but it is quite fair. A good average Witbier. I recommand it on tap. nickchalk (229), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 19, 2003 Hazy yellow, fizzy white head. The yeasty aroma is a little bready, some spices. The flavour is well spiced, a little weak though. Decent. Bottle. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Clear yellow with light head. Wheat in the aroma, with a touch of smoke or spice. Sweetish falvour with small notes of citrus. Decent for the style, but not a spectacular beer. Bit thin bodied. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Thin fast receding head. Mildly lemon citrus to start followed by a lightly toasted malt flavour and with a slight tartness in the finish. Good flavours here if perhaps a bit subtle. Very dry and crisp but somewhat fizzy. This is a very good beer that if punched up a notch could be great. As is, it’s worth a taste but not likely to be a regular choice. Bottle. with a cute white head. Wheat is omnipresent in nose. Wheat, yeast and
coriander are ok balanced in mouth. It doesnt redefine the style though,
it just interprets it well.
Definitly better and more refreshing on tap Boutip (2402), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2003 Usual yeast Cheval Blanc flavor which is a good thing. A bit of lemon in this nice white colored brew. Very refreshing, not too bad for a style (Belgian White) that seems to go out of favour with brewer... austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
