Robe rouge avec des reflets orangés. Mousse grossière en dentelle, mais affaissante. Arômes de levure avec des notes acides. Saveurs disgracieuses de métal. Ronde, mais sans teneur. L’évier va boire une bonne rasade... BBD : 082005.

660 ml bottle. Clear orange-copper, large lasting flan-hued head with big thick lacing...earthy-caramel nose is rather weak and doesn’t grow much with warmth...very sweet, very smooth, just a touch (not enough) of herbal zest, some smoke late, but rather watery and bland. This brewery ain’t doin’ it for me..

Some Scottish taste, much carmel malts, thin wattery, carbonation did not quite make it.

Brown, medium head. Malty body and nose, but starts mettalic, which is annoying. Brown sugar notes. Alright. Bottle.

Light brown, medium thick head. Malty sweet body , some light bitterness . Chewy, sugary texture, unpleasant finish (salty).

Ruby brown with an off white head. Sweetly malty with lots of caramel sweetness on a number of levels. Surpisingly tasty. Mondiale 2T (Radek).

650ml bottle. A reddish-brown ale that pours with a foamy, light-brown head that is fully diminishing. Lightly malty aroma has some brown sugar notes. Light-to-medium body with a mouthfeel that is best described as being merely average. Forward flavours reveal a sweet, caramel character. Some fruit, too, but nothing to get excited about. The finish is drier, with more bitterness from the earthy hops. It’s certainly not bad, but it is really lacking the full, malty character that would make it a good Scottish ale.
