Dec 25, 2003 Cloudy reddish orange. Excellent sweet aroma of fruit and spice. And then a fruit salad flavour, dry with a baking soda finish.

Nov 3, 2003 Pourred a ruby-ish brew with a nice head that left my glass way too soon. Wheat taste is apparent but not present enough for my liking. Also, I find that the body is bit shallow/thin for weizen. Seen better from Cheval Blanc but A+ for good cause.

Sep 25, 2003 Nice orange-caramel aroma! Clouded orange-tan colour with no head to speak of. Orange flavour dominates in a nice way giving way to sweetness and then hop bitterness in a taste that moves quickly. Residual burnt flavours. The palate is a tad thin and it could do with better head retention for a wheat beer. This is a pleasant tasting beer. If only it had more head and a stronger body, it could be excellent. Bottle.

Aug 31, 2003 Nice orangey body from which develops a bready aroma. Malty caramel in mouth. Quaffable, slightly tart and pleasant, but far from complex nor surprising. Good cause though. Congratulations for the innovation (I believe) and good luck.

Extremely smooth - no aftertaste
very refreshing
Overall spendid surprise was my reponse to this beer - extremely grand beer for the price.
In addition royalties from sales go toward a foundation for threatened animal spiecies.

Oct 31, 2002 Amber color, a bit clear for a wheat beer, shy head. Big peach/orange aroma with a bit of wheat. Very fruity and somewhat tart, a hint of spices, wheat finish.

Aug 21, 2002 Definitely not a german wheat (no cloves, bubblegum or banans in this one) but: I liked this one. Uses the same yeast as in most of their belgians but it is more subdued and more ’comporté’ in this one. Some spice and maltiness -totally quafable.
