Quaffable, slightly tart and pleasant, but far from complex nor surprising. Good cause though. Congratulations for the innovation (I believe) and good luck. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Smells of apricot/peach aromas, citrus, and floral notes. Flavour is similar but more muted. Citrus and fruit on a good malty profile. Crisp finish. Quite nice. Lightly spicey yeast aroma, with sweetness coming through. Orange notes. Rye notes coming through a sweet weak malt, with orange notes and light bananas. Weaker bodied than remembered. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 9/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Sep 25, 2003 Nice orange-caramel aroma! Clouded orange-tan colour with no head to speak of. Orange flavour dominates in a nice way giving way to sweetness and then hop bitterness in a taste that moves quickly. Residual burnt flavours. The palate is a tad thin and it could do with better head retention for a wheat beer. This is a pleasant tasting beer. If only it had more head and a stronger body, it could be excellent. Bottle.
