Surprisingly drinkable beer with juice. Pinkish tinge to yellow beer, looks better than it sounds. Faint cranberry and other juice aroma. On tart side, but malted down.

Body is a reddish/orane colour, with a long lasting beige head. Aromas are mildly spicy, malty and a tad fruity. Taste is oranges, followed by a sweet hop flavour, finishing with a tart and sour punch. Smooth mouthfeel, sour afftertaste. Not bad!

On tap at Smokeless Joe Toronto, along with Mr.Manning and doug shoemaker. Redish orange body witha long lasting beige head. Aromas of caramle malts, very sweet and citrusy/spicy. Flavors of citrus (orange?) and sweet malts. Sligthly sour and bitter. The sourness and citrus flavours linger. Very different!!!

Thanks to beerbuzzmontreal for this one. Orange-pink cloudy beer with a thick and lasting creamy white head. Nose is spicy but there are loads of phenolic aromas as well, that are a little off-putting. The flavour is nice and tart, cranberry flavour up front, light spiciness and a crisp tart finish. Not a bad beer, but something in the aroma was a bit off. As it warms, this problem lessens opening up more yeasty spice and a bit of bubble gum.

On draft @ beer bistro. A very interesting beer that incorporates fruit well. Pale reddish pink colour like a rose wine. Decent sized white head. A difficult beer to pick up on the nose, some sweetness. The flavour is tart with al little spicy sweetness, cranberry present in the tartness more than by flavour. Enojyable.

On tap at Cafe Volo. Dark orange pour. Little head, quickly dissipated. Strong sweet aroma - citrus, spice, malt and alcohol all present. Initial taste was classic strong Belgian Ale, but it did have an odd citrus aspect to it that was initially off-putting. This mellowed with time in the glass and a lot of spiciness emerged which was nice. Mouthfeel was thick and a little syrupy. Again, strong alcohol was present at first but that mellowed as well. Overall, pretty good, but it just took a little work.

(2003 bottle) Hazy amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, white grape, apricot, coriander. Taste is medium sweet, strong cranberr, lemon, and ginger make this quite sour. Coriander also present. Medium body, some acidity. The sourness really threw me, as the nose gave no indication of that - almost makes it undrinkable. I might think it was infected but for the several raters that also noted the strong sourness.
