cfrancis (293), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada Aug 12, 2009 Aroma of maple and smoke. Taste is bitter alcohol with maple syrup and smokey. I really wasn’t that happy with this beer.
Lots of maple aromas... maybe a bit too much. The finish is slighly alcoholic. kev26 (23), Canada Apr 14, 2008 Bière de couleur orangé, une légère odeur d’érable, une bonne bière sans être très bonne, une bière moyenne GRM (1237), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Sep 27, 2007 Bottle, at the Fête fromages et bières; eye: orangey amber, opaque, tiny white head; nose: maple-smoked bacon; mouth: mildly sweet, a hint of bitterness, finale in maple-smoked bacon, medium body, oily texture, good carbonation
FRANÇAIS
Bouteille, Fête fromages et bières; oeil : ambre orangé, opaque, petite mousse blanche; nez : bacon fumé à l’érable; bouche : modérément sucrée, petite pointe d’amertume, finale en viande fumée à l’érable, corps moyen, texture huileuse, bonne carbonatation radiomgb (1921), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Sep 15, 2007 Golden-orange in colour, large flluffy white coloured head, good retention and lacing. The aroma is of maple, some smoke, caramel and orange citrus. The flavour is again lightly smoked, some orange citrus, light maple sweetness, earthy, some yeast. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes long with a continuing maple sweet and the underlying smoke. Pretty good. I’m not usually a fan of maple flavoured beers but they pulled it off. The smoked malt was a nice touch.

Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 16, 2007 I think I was too polite to even try a maple syrup beverage, who knows what the heck. Aroma of sour and sweet apples. Very foamy soapy head on orange cloudy colour. Smokiness, apparently from smoked malt, and also burnt piece, like burnt toast or roast. Watery mouthfeel. Grows on you.Derek sharing.
dmac (1420), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Mar 12, 2007 Thanks to Taktik MTL for this 22 oz bottle. Poured a very hazy golden color with an average head. For a beer made with maple syrup I was anticipating a little more aroma and flavor of maple. Interesting beer thats worth trying.
