Jul 22, 2007 on tap @HopfestNC-pours a disappering off white head and copper color. Aroma is mild medium malt. Taste is medium malt, finishes with some caramel and faint English/flat hops. Mild carbonation.

Jan 8, 2008 Thanks to weeare138. Pours a translucent brownish amber with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, molasses, some nuts...and just too sweet. Flavor of nuts, some toasted malt...still a bit too sweet and malty with a touch of caramel.

Jun 23, 2009 Bottle. Pour brown with a short white head. Nose is chocolate, nutty notes, earthy aromas and toasted malt. Taste is spicy and earthy hops, chocolate covered nuts, light toffee and toasted malt. Body is light with a soft carbonation and a slick overall feel. Ends with more toasted malt, cocoa, nuts, spicy and earthy hops, and toffee. An average brown ale.
