| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Very cloudy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish (one centimetre) tan head. Aroma of strong hops, alcohol, caramel, toffee, pit fruits and a bit of peat - smells like a barley wine with a bit of an Imperial IPA scent to it. Light-bodied, if that’s possible! Mild malty flavour with not much behind the initial taste showing some alcohol, a bit of pit fruits and not much else really - insane for such a strong smelling beer! Aftertaste shows a little bit of hops and a tiny bit of pit fruits and almost nothing else! Overall, a pretty interesting beer - I was expecting much more from the taste, but this one is very weak in the flavour - the look and smell are nice, but there is nothing at all to this beer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 11-July-2009, sampled on 15-July-2009 at home in Washington. Skyview (4064), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Sampled during Dark Lord Day 09 via 12-oz bottle at table 3. Pours a semi-hazy copper amber colored brew with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates to a film top. Aroma of caramel and golden grain malt, some citrus zest, light tropical fruit and some orange. Taste is medium bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, some alcohol presence, tropical fruit and some citrus zest. Finish is semi-dry, slightly metallic from the higher alcohol with a mild bitterness that slowly disappears. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2009 After 3 duds in the variety pack I was hoping this one would save me from the mediocrity that is RJ Rockers. Poured amber with a slight haze, the head was a mere collection of bubbles. the smell and taste were the same: honey, toffee, and faint citrus. Slightly syrupy body and a lasting bitter finish. Easily the best from the pack though that isn’t saying much. It was almost as if they were trying to brew an Arrogant Bastard Lite.
