Bottle. What is this? Dark orange color with a small white head. Balanced mess. Citrus hop aroma, bright taste. Lingering hop bitterness, not bad but odd.

12oz. Pours deep orange with a tan head. Nose is sweet and hoppy. Taste is slightly hopped and all in all poor.

Overall Impression: Relatively hoppy, and a decent beer, but overall its just pretty bland, I’ll bumped it up a bit because of the generous hops, otherwise it would probably have been slightly lower.

Pours a hazy burnt orange color with small suspended particulates. Small off white head. Nose is sweet malt, hops, caramel. Initial taste of caramel, resin, earthy hops. Grapefruit lures in the background. Body is light and watery. Good head retention. Palate is average. Overall a drinkabe American strong but nothing special.

12 oz bottle. Lightly hazed copper with a big off white head that descends rockily. Big sweet malt nose, caramel and light orange citrus, butterscotch notes. Somewhat sweet flavor, caramel tempered with pine, grapefruit and orange. Somehow comes off boring, however. Mild tannic flavors late in the finish. OK.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, citrus and floral hops, and a hint of some alcohol. Flavor was a little more grainy then I thought it would be from the aroma. Slight warming on the finish but not too strong.

Bottle from Green Leafe. Pours copper with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, hopcitrus, some brown sugary figgy fruit. Tastes hot, malty, with solid hops and fruit, but is indeed a bit muddled and never really easy to drink. Some late spicy notes don’t remove the rather astringent and discombobulated overall tone of this.
