| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 14, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a one finger white head. Aroma is surprisingly malty for a pale ale. In fact, there is almost no hop aroma at all. The taste is equally lacking in the sort of hop character you’d expect in a pale ale, nothing but some overmatched florals. It seems a stretch to even call this a pale, and it is not particularly good either. SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
