Cloudy amber color. A caramel like aroma. Pretty strong citrus hops with a caramel finish. Decent.

12oz bottle. Hazy golden orange color. Light floral hop aroma. Light, earthy hoppiness. Medium bodied, relatively smooth finish. Crisp initial mouthfeel, with enough hops to keep it interesting, but there is a certain lack of depth. OK.

12 ounce bottle from Downtown Wine & Gourmet in Harrisonburg, VA. Pours a dark orange color with lots of carbonation. A medium white head with moderate retention and good lacing. Good but generic citrus hop aroma. Bitter hop taste with some citrus notes and a little bit of maltiness. Medium bodied.

Cloudy copper pour. Light head cleared quickly. Aroma was slightly piney. Taste was not as advertised...I could not find the aggressice hops. I would call it more sweet than bitter, caramel taste was prevalent. Not bad but not what I was looking for in an American pale ale.

Appearance: Pours a medium copper body with an almost imperceptibly haze and topped with a thin ring of white bubbles. Smell: Effusive caramel aroma with a light grain note and very minor background fruitiness. Taste: Distinct caramel maltiness and accompanying sweetness with a light, brief taste of grain. Lightly earthy, lightly citrusy hops and bitterness provides a touch of balance, but, ultimately, the strong caramel taste shines through to the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A decent, reasonably tasty malt-forward pale ale. I can’t help but notice some disastrous reviews from bad bottles as I type this in, so it looks as though I’m the official winner of the R.J. Rockers Lottery!!

12oz. Pours a deep clear golden hue with a fluffy white head. Nose is very interesting, at room temperature it had a modest component of "barnyard". More specifically, a pig sty (I know, I worked in one). Some might be turned off by this or some might find it quite amicable (like me). Body is less interesting, mostly sweet caramel malt and the slightest notion of a hop thrown in here or two. Off-dry finish atop a fairly soft body.

hazy muddy gold under a medium sized frothy white head. overly sweet caramel and peach aroma, hint of sourness. flavor is sweet with caramel and a light peachy herbal hop note. hint of metallic. too much residual sugar. juicy palate. mild infection?
