Commercial Description:
Tremblay is a pale lager made from an all-malt grist. The golden color, subtle bouquet and satisfying taste are the result of a delicate balance between malt and hop. Tremblay is a complex blend of fine aromas.

Ok pale lager - a baby step up from Molson.

Corn aroma, blonde with a solid white head. A thin bitterness rondly completes the cereal taste. Insipid

Yellow golden lager with a thick head. Faint malt aroma. Crisp german style beer with faint diacetyl. Medium bodied. Draft at brewery. MIM 2005.

341 ml bottle from Metro Joanette in Verdun, QC (December 2006) consumed a bit above fridge temperature from a Christoffel glass. Somewhat fizzy clear pale gold body with moderate-large quick-dying white head....grainy nose with faint hints of DMS, corn, honey, a touch of grass on the second nosing.....clean, smooth and quite bland with just a touch of pale malt sweetness, very little if any hop profile until the extreme finish which does offer the lightest whisper of grassy-floral bitterness and acidity....moderate to high, fairly natural-seeming carbonation though the near-absence of malts near the finish accents the fizz and makes this feel rather soda-like. All in all it’s not at all bad for what it is, but I can’t really say I like it or that I would be all that excited to find this instead of a Molson product at a show or sporting event.

Slight skunkiness (odd considering the brown bottle). Sweet lightly malty aroma. Very clear blond colour with foamy whote fully diminishing head. Some bitterness towards the finish. Decent hop flavour. Some noticeable DMS (cabbage) but all in all fairly bland. Thin body and watery mouthfeel. Not a good effort. Bottle.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, blankboy’s bottle. Pale clear yellow, not much head, pee-like. Cheap grain, sugar and sweat aroma. Boring taste - grain, sugar, something harsh in there that doesn’t belong, small bitter aftertaste, slightly sour. Weak body, fizzy ... not much going on at all.

Slightly grassy aroma, some sweetness (fructose sugars). Gold, small rings of white head. Some malted at bottom, a bit grassy but nothing to deep/complex
