Cask at GBBF 2007. An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with some notes of hops and caramel as well as light notes of diacethyl, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

A Sim rate (cask): Very subtle aroma of hops, malt and a bit of hay. Very malty, musky flavour with a bitter finish. Decent lace and thin head. Golden brown colour. Slight citric note of lemon or grapefruit.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber. Faint marmalade malt aroma. The well rounded malty taste gives way to a bitter finish. Fair to middling sessioner.

Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber to gold with light white head. Light flowery perfumed bitter, a little too sharp really for my liking. Simple malty body, a little biscuity, easy drinking apart from the perfume. Reasonable.

Another gassy bitter, it wa snice and sweet, but it has strange features. I like the golden colour. HAd it at GBBF 2007.
