Cask (handpump) @ Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield, Bedfordshire England S3 8GG.
On RateBeer Sheffield "Valley of beer" Crawl 2008. Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask handpull at The Phoenix, Canterbury. Gold, thin beige head. Bit of toffee, bit of yeast. It’s an alright yeasty bitter with some character. Actually not bad, good character, some drying hop on end.

Cask at the new crown and alred herring. If one were to read mesandsims rating they may understand what im trying to say however here it goes: grassy, golden ale, pale malts, nutty, a semi angry fist which only goes in the dierction of greeks.

Leicester ’Spoons. Orange amber with a flat silky collar. Dead metal fruit aroma smothered by sparkler. Sick-like scum, zero carbonation. Tedious thin marzipan stillness. Nothing refreshing or golden about it. Lingering floury Weetabix afters. Can’t be arsed finishing this.

Cask. 4.0%. Almost clear copper colour, very small white head. Creamy flavour, quite mild. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh. Hint of yeast in the finish.
