pint @ the brewery tap in wimbledon village. Fine creamy head on a mahogny body. Aromas of overripe apples almost like cider. Still appley in flavour, creamy with a bitter finish. Soapy mouthfeel, but ok for one.

JDW, Rochester Smooth toffee accented beer - hop soaked tang in the swallow. OK and quite drinkable, if a bit old fashioned.

A Mes rate: Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.Mid brown with a sparklered off white head. Sickly malt and a little wheaty. Tarty finish. Far from a piece of brewing art.

Cask-conditioned at the Shakespeare JDW Holborn 25/2/08. Pale amber coloured with a slight white head. Aroma of caramel and red fruit. Flavour had some sweet malt before a decent bitter finish. OK.
