7.5 % t.h.t. 19-11-2013 Midlle brown, nice head with crude foam, fruity nose, a bit maltsweet, almost dry beer. Limited hopfulness. Balanced and fine starter. A logical add to the assorti of Rochefort with its 10 and 8. Knowing them, 6 will not surprise you.

Murky orange appearance with dense yeast particles and mostly lacing moderate head. Grapes, plums, slight honey and citrus in the aroma. Crisp, dry mouthfeel with underlying dark fruits. Dry, peppery finish with some herbals. Medium bodied with dense yeasty texture and lively carbonation.

Location: First try was out of a bottle Sept ’08 from Norm’s

Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice beer, definitely has some flavor. I have to admit though, I was expecting more.
