| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2008 Ruby-ish brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Nose is creamy and buttery, somewhat off-putting but more tolerable with warmth. It also contains raisin, sugar, slight fruit, bread, and significant alcohol. Flavor is similar with more alcohol, less cream, and more of the traditional dark fruit/raisin. Palate is quite watery and the finish is very short and quite dull save for slight alcohol and a solid malt presence. Still a good beer, but nowhere near the bigger ones.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Bottled. A Cloudy brown color with a nice beige head, but not too persistent. Aroma is complex, Sweety with notes of toffee, chocolate and some fruit. Flavor is sweet with pretty much like the aroma, wit a medium carboantion. Mouthfeel is amazing looks like Carolus, with a Toffee finish. Good Beer!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Pours a light murky brown with a thick, fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Sweet, rich, almost buttery aroma - figs, dates, brown sugar, cloves and caramel. Very, very fragrant. The flavor is far milder - this is a great example of what I call an olfactory beer - the aroma is required to appreciate the flavor. Plug your nose while sipping and it loses nearly everything it has. The fruit notes are most prominent in what flavor remains, along with yeast and a bit of alcohol, a high carbonation and a very dry finish. Good, for sure - but nowhere near the Roche 10. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Shoulda been better. Some very nice malt on the nose with some poop in there too. Looks as sexy as its cousins, but the flavor, as well as the nose, is missing out on a lot. Cant even call this one sexy, which hurts my soul. Total disappointing bummer, bra. Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark

Spicy, sticky nose with some sweetness. Bready flavor with soft spices, caramel and yeast. A little woody with some hazelnut on the finish. Light palate with a carbonated finish. nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA

Spicy and earthy aroma, and a touch of sweetness. Light btrad and yeast flavor and a touch of alcohol. Clean finish, very good ajwilliams (118), , Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Light brown pour with a creamy head. Aroma and taste both simpler version of the 8 and 10, with a little more light spice and yeast and less alcohol warmth. Not the masterpiece that the others are, but more refreshing and requires less concentration. A great beer to relax with.
