| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Dark copper, almost cordovan, nearly opaque, with a thick pillowy head that had great retention and left very intricate lacing. Subtle aromas of figs and cherries with a touch of alcohol. Flavors were stronger, and included dark fruits, carob, and soft bread. The sensations on the palate stole the show - lively carbonation, silky smooth mouthfeel and a wonderful aftertaste. chicagodri (1071), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nice aroma, you can smell the yeast, fruit, and caramel. Sweet flavor from the caramel. Good balance with the spices and the fruit as well. Good stuff. zappafan99 (463), South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2008 Ruddy brown, high carb head that quickly vanished. Yeasty and fruity. Zesty. Something almost creamy in it that I can’t put my finger on. Better than the last time I tasted it. Geiserich (1790), Vienna, Austria

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2008 A bit of hazy pour and very bubbly. Light brown with a thick head. Very fruity aroma. Lots of apples; it smells almost like cider. Lots of malt and grain with a touch of oaky vanilla. Hearty yeasty bread flavor. The intense apples in the aroma are much more subtle in the flavor. Its there, but not overpowering. Malty with a touch of hops to finish. Alcohol is hidden well. A very good dubbel! BrotherJoe (12), Iowa, USA
