The aroma is very appealing as well - sweet, plums, maraschino cherries, brown sugar, and yeast. The flavour is caramel malty sweet, with fruit, milk chocolate and spice. Almost no alcohol presence. Medium body and well carbonated. Very good and very drinkable. BuckeyeBoy (1674), Boise, Idaho, USA

Pours cloudy orange-ish amber. Aroma of brown sugar and raisins. Taste is metallic and medicinal. Don’t like it. I got it! If you pretend its cola its not so bad.
Rerate: Didn’t take tasting notes, but I had a small sample which was much, much better. Scores updated to reflect that. ilovesmid (15), Ireland

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Shared w/ dpjuart. Hazy dark brown color. A LOT of carbonation. If it was corked, it would have blown it off. Fizzy off white head. Nose of sour yeast, some sweet malts, and alcohol soaked cherries. Mellow taste with a weird almost savory flavor and fruit. A little bit of bitterness. Biggest complaint was that there was no body to this at all. An interesting beer. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

Body is thin and watery, lots of carb with some caramel and raisins. Mild bitterness with the extremely dry finish, some cherry and pum, maybe a touch of coffee. End and finish are dry and bitter, with alcohol lingering into the after with some dry maltiness, caramel and toffee.
