| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2008 0.33 l bottle. Copper-amber color with big creamy head. Sweetish and perfurmed aroma with notes of figs and prunes. Nutty, caramelly and fruity flavor with figs, prunes, rose and soft alcohol. Very low bitterness. Very good beer, but I always prefer 8 and 10. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Deep red-brown color topped with a frothy head. Slighly sweet, doughy aroma. Tasted less sweet and of roasted malt. The mouthfeel was amazing...not like syrup, but thick none-the-less. A very good beer. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice, dark caramel colour with a nice head. Very earthy flavour with citrus undertones. This is one of the best Belgian beers I’ve had the pleaure of tasting. Highly recommended. emerica56 (583), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 21, 2008 I was a little dissapointed on how this poured since it was the same color as the 8 but the head was not as thick. Although the aroma is a bit stronger still the same smells, it is very floral but there is a bit more sweet malts in there. The flavor is nice and sweet and much more creamyier then the 8 was. I also enjoyed the fact that the carbonation was not as intence and the flavor lasted for a bit longer on the palate. gmonroe10 (172), Netherlands
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Poured a reddish brown with a creamy offwhite head. Sweet aroma and smooth plum flavor- slight bitterness to finish that levelled off. Balanced well- very good, but definitely i rated it lower after having the 8 and 10 tunneler (113), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
