Aug 16, 2008 I drank this one too fast with my PBnJ, I know that it had notes of candied fruits, baking spices and more..., appearance was perfect with a fine soapy head that lasted for quite some time, dark reddish brown body and fine effers, flavor was awesome with my sandwich, balanced with the peanut butter and marmelade, LOL... palate, creamy, oilly and tickley on the tongue... I’m going to have another one, and savor it the next time ;>)

does not count  Aug 16, 2008 I found it to be very drinkable such as settling in for an afternoon of football sitting back in a comfortable chair, perhaps with your computer in front of you as you watch the games. What could be sweeter than great football and a really good solid beer that after a couple you know you’ve been drinking beer.

Aug 16, 2008 (Bottle). Beguiling fruit-filled aroma. Gorgeous mahogany color with a robust head. The flavor is spectacularly complex, both earthy and fruity. Leavened with lots of carbonation, and finishes seemingly forever. Nigh unto perfect.

Aug 14, 2008 Great dark brown color and interesting off white lacing. Another complex beer with a bit of a hop finish. Carbonated a bit higher than a Dubbel and very similar in profile as the 10. Outstanding beer

Aug 11, 2008 Updated: Oct 10, 2008Something about the flavor puts it JUST below the 10 but as far as I can tell the 10 is the best beer in production right now. Same beautiful textures, colors, and complexities as the other Rochefort’s but at a better price tag.

This beer goes down super smooth with a fruity taste, grapes stand out. It finishes with a caramel-chocolate taste. This is truely a great beer and one for anyone to try.

Aug 9, 2008 Wow. Oulala. One of the best beer ever made. Nice beige foamy collet. Aroma of dark fruits, cacao and caramel. Very complex taste. Almost better than the 10. Should ask for my belgian’s citizenship.
