pivski (24), Zagreb, Croatia Apr 9, 2008 This beer is also great as 10. I actually see no difference or just a little bit in flavor but it’s great and those two are definititely the beers I could drink every day, 10 of them or more :) changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 9, 2008 Updated: Jul 22, 2008Pours a murky brown color topped with a thick foamy head. The head does taper off a bit, leaving a thin head the rest of the way. Still leaves a good amount of lacing. Fruity, faint spiced malt aroma with a touch of yeast. Extremely smooth flavor with a rush of sugary dark fruits, slightly spicy with malts taking a back seat. Maybe even some caramel somewhere in there. A long, tasty, gentle mouthfeel. 9.2% and I hardly know it’s there. This is one of the best beers I have had to date. Thylacine (237), Tasmania, Australia Apr 9, 2008 Bottle - Murky red/ brown with orangy highlights when held to light. Tan head and lots of sediment. . Fruity aroma and flavours of dark roasted malts with dark fruits and caramel. Moderate carbonation and slightly effervescent/frothy on the tongue. Well balanced. The Rochefort 10 has the edge but this is a great drop all the same. jkm (189), Australia Apr 9, 2008 Cloudy reddish brown colour with a nice size light beige head. Lots of sediment. Medium bodied with average carbonation and moderate bitterness. Flavours quite sweet, fruity, malty...Alcohol in the fairly dry finish.

good stuff rampmaster (315), Alden, New York, USA Apr 8, 2008 Updated: May 9, 2008Pours dark brown, with a light tan and creamy head. Tan sediment is present in my glass. Aromas of roasted malts, sweet fruits and Belgian yeast fill your nose. Malt flavor is sweet, bready and nutty. Fruity notes are of plum, golden raisin and fig. The alcohol is well hidden, but still noticeable. Well balanced with a medium body, nice carbonation and a smooth mouth feel. Exceptional Trappist ale. Pastor (509), Maine, USA Apr 6, 2008 Bottle poured into a chalice produced a huge fluffy tan head it takes a few minutes to settle down to a thick lace. The body is a hazy dark brown
