Bottled. Cloudy brown pour, with a largedense, rocky, tan head. Aroma of raisins, candied fruit, rum, canned brown bread. Flavor is sweet malt with soft alcohol notes, fine balance. Finishes dry with a hint of alcohol. Wine-like mouthfeel, nicely carbonated.

Ja den er betemt god, en rigtig dejlig blød og fyldig, kraftig kloster øl som de kan lave dem i Belgien

Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head with a murky, dark brown body. Dark fruits (raisins and candied figs), belgian sugar, light floral hops, and light yeast on tap in the aroma (albeit the aroma is a bit weak). Some alcohol upon letting the beer come to temperature. Sheets of lacing down the glass, the head has great retention throught the entire length of the beer. Taste is nutty, sweet, and raisiny with the alcohol upfront. Creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation.

Bottle. I will start by saying that this bottle was not right. The beer is much better than this. Looked and poured fine but the taste was rough with nothing like the flavors it should have. It was not bad just not right. Look for a re rate in the future.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a big frothy head that does not disappear. Vanilla and fig flavors, very complex. Sweet aroma, molasses undertone and somewhat fruity. Full bodied. This is excellent and rivals it’s big brother.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass is incredible! Very fine foam. Tastes strong, but not alcoholic. Really, really good!
