Warms you up nicely but not as much as the 10. Well worth drinking if you can’t get the 10 or are looking for something lighter. dlclark (72), Bloomington, Illinois, USA

It was almost like having dessert and beer at the same time. Very thick and a complex flavor that changes with temperature. Will get this again for special occasions. shoestring (187), larkhall, Scotland

You can tell that a lot of time and precision went into the creation of this brew. A gift from the gods! mickblueeyes (106), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

The nose is amazingly rich with charred oak, spiced apples, cinnamon, chocolate and a touch of raisin. The palate is dense with sweet chocolate covered raisins and dry wood-smoked barley malt. THe finish is a touch lack lustre given the amazing nose and palate, but it is creamy and rich with an afterthought of lemon meringue. Pabobcat (15), Pennsylvania, USA

Pours well not much nose, but as you bring it to your mouth the experiance begins! Starts off fruity and then ends with a beautiful chocolate taste that just gets better as it gets warmer. Very malty flavour, a bit fruity, and full bodied sweet beer.

The aroma was a bit complex with hints of chocolate, malt and fruits. The taste was smooth, reminded me of sweets cocoa and malt, very very good, could not feel the alcahol, very nice beer, something to have again and maybe re-rate. I had Kwak before this and maybe that taste was screwing it a bit up.. thanks Eirikur!
