This beer hides its high alcohol % well, at 9.2% its deceptively smooth. My favorite trappist beer up to this point. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA

Poured a deep dark brown with a huge head that I had to wait a couple of minutes before it dissapated. Smooth and creamy taste. Caramel is the most prominent taste. Will buy again. phantomtwister (18), Belgium

Medium opaque brown in color, similar to the 6 with a more balanced palette. Notes of candied pear in nose and dried cherries on palate. If you’re not a fan of this kind of beer, you don’t know what you’re missing. Dynamite brew - a one of a kind gem! Rated while drinking with Fistfull and Twindog. twindog (98), Hampstead, Maryland, USA

Tan sediment is present in my glass. Aromas of roasted malts, sweet fruits and Belgian yeast fill your nose. Malt flavor is sweet, bready and nutty. Fruity notes are of plum, golden raisin and fig. The alcohol is well hidden, but still noticeable. Well balanced with a medium body, nice carbonation and a smooth mouth feel. Exceptional Trappist ale. syton98 (44), USA

Taste is deep with a nice fruit and carmel flavor infused throughout. The smell lingers and allows you to relish the flavors you soon enjoy. Since the 10 can be hard to get (it is my fav) this is a great beer to drink as you wait for the next 10. CafeeOndineke (32), Aalst, Belgium
