Jun 8, 2008 pours a murky reddish brown, smells of fruit and alcohol, the flavor is heavily carbonated and very malty, with hints of all kinds of fruits and spices, this has a very complex flavor and you can pick up different flavors throughout drinking this. Very amazing ale!

Jan 11, 2008 Updated: Feb 24, 2008Pours chocolate brown, almost opaque, with a thick, enduring head. Intricate lacing all the way down.
Aroma is of cherries, yeast, and certainly some alcohol.
Some fruity flavors - raisins, plums, figs - and yes, more alcohol.
Carbonation seems to dance on the tongue, then it’s a silky smooth ride.
This is truly a special experience. Treat yourself.

Apr 26, 2009 Bouteille de 330 ml. Nos yeux contemplent cette bière de couleur brune avce des reflets acajoux ainsi qu’un col de mousse brunâtre parfait. Au nez on découvre des arômes très complexes de chocolat, de raisins rouges, de lilas, d’alcool, de fruits rouges confîts et d’épices. En bouche le corps est rond et soyeux avec une effervescence faible-moyenne. Nos papilles gustatives sont submergées par des saveurs de chocolat, de raisins rouges, de fruits confîts, de sucre, de grain grillé, de prunes et pour finir on percoit une touche d’alcool. Vraiment Excellent !!!!

Jan 22, 2008 Delicious. Color is a little bit dark muddy and the flavor is not as intense as I had hoped... but this does not disappoint. The aroma is a gentle chocolate/fruit and the flavor lingers sweet. Easy to appreciate this one.

Apr 7, 2009 I think this beer is very underated, the ten is very good, however this beer is much easier to find and is almost as good. I actually found some that already aged 3 years and were cheaper than the new ones(this beer ages well).
