beerbuzzmontreal (2700), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jan 5, 2007 The pour reveals a cloudy golden color with a thin white head. Strong aroma and flavor of malt with a sweet finish. The body is light and liquorous with soft carbonation. Some hops aroma and flavor would have been appreciated. tupalev (2296), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 31, 2006 MBG 06. Subtle aroma - some malt, flowery perfume. Orange, no head. Very malty taste! Hops that seemed rather stale and plastic like as well. Odd - I didn’t like it, but I appreciated how much body they packed in to it. blankboy (2570), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 28, 2006 Draught at 2006 MBG Summer Festival. First beer of the day! Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a small diminishing creamy white head. Very fruity aroma with a nice amount of herbal hops. Nice, unique flavour for a Pilsener: lots of herbal hops, quite fruity, and a good sweel malt backbone. Medium bodied. Wow, I’m surprised how much I liked this. HogTownHarry (3200), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jul 27, 2006 Draught. At 2006 Michigan Brewers’ Guild Festival. Hazy amber with a decent white head. Solid fruity malt aroma, lush herbal/funky hops. Nice big malty taste, well-balanced by a big bag of mixed hops, mostly herbal. Solid body, lightly astringent and carbonated, nice bitter medium-long finish - very straightforward, but I’m beginning to like this "style" GregClow (2332), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 27, 2006 Draught sample at MBG 2006 Summer Festival. Golden-amber with a bright white head. Aroma is very herbal and fruity, nice. Flavour is big and balanced, with lots of herbal hops and a background of sweet malt. A bit simple, but enjoyable.
