Commercial Description:
This is an American IPA fermented with our house strain of Belgian yeast. The beer has a soft copper body, malty and balanced with 70 IBU from our Columbus bittering hop addition. The hops then transition into flavoring hop additions during the last 30 minutes of brewing. At the end of the brew we add buckets full of aroma hops and ferment at a warm temperature. Then to capture even more hop flavors and aromas we poured more buckets full of hops directly into the beer (dry hop) and allow the beer to rest and absorb all the delicious hop goodness.

Shared by the crustmister. Thanks Dave! Nose/flavor of hops, fruit, lemongrass, and sage. Interesting and different from other of similar styles. I dig.

bottle Tampa xmas gathering. pours orange/haze, white head. aroma and flavor, nice hoppy citrus nose, noticeable Belgian yeast meshing rather well with the American style IPA. Good balance with the malt character.

Pours orange. Nose is spices, floral hops, sweet malts, mild clove and lemon. Flavor is crisp citrus, sweet malt, bitter flower, hints of clove and cinnamon. I usually don’t like Belgian IPAs, but this one was nice.

Thanks to David for sharing this one. Intensely full and yeasty pour, with a thick head and a pleasantly resinous aroma. Flavor held together sweet citrus with the dry yeast and pine quite nicely. Full bodied and very enjoyable, even if somewhat unassuming.

Bottle shared by ucusty. Thanks, Dave. Pours hazy amber with big white head. Bitter hops and yeasty goodness. Maybe a bit of odd menthol? Solid, but a pretty standard Belgian IPA.
