Dec 30, 2009 Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours deep gold with white head. The aroma is hoppy with grapefruit mixing with sweet malts and mild Belgian yeastiness. This is a nice hoppy citrus brew with Belgian yeast spices sort of as an undertone. By midway a solid hoppy goodness persists with the Belgian yeast notes only assisting and staying out of the way of the nice hoppy flavors.

aroma and flavor, nice hoppy citrus nose, noticeable Belgian yeast meshing rather well with the American style IPA. Good balance with the malt character.

Dec 20, 2009 Pours orange. Nose is spices, floral hops, sweet malts, mild clove and lemon. Flavor is crisp citrus, sweet malt, bitter flower, hints of clove and cinnamon. I usually don’t like Belgian IPAs, but this one was nice.

Oct 29, 2009 Thanks ucusty for sharing. Pours a clean gold with a one finger creamy offwhite head. The nose is spicy, sprucy, earthy, yeasty, mildly vegetal. Flavor is spicy and earthy, yeasty, mild bitterness, estery. Flavor is spicy, earthy, yeasty, mildly bitter, estery. Palate is spicy with a mild bitterness.

Oct 26, 2009 Thanks to David for sharing this one. Intensely full and yeasty pour, with a thick head and a pleasantly resinous aroma. Flavor held together sweet citrus with the dry yeast and pine quite nicely. Full bodied and very enjoyable, even if somewhat unassuming.
