12 oz bottle from a variety 12 pack purchased at Spirits RB. Pours a deep clear red brown with a small bubbly off white head. Malt heavy aroma, caramel, slight chocolate, brown bread, slight touch of cinnamon. This one feels thin on the begining of the sip but as you swallow seems a little more average bodied on the back of your throat, average carbonation Flavor has a slight touch of sourness followed by caramel, toffee, malts and toast. I was expecting a total dud a la Star Wars episode I but got something actually palatable a la Star Wars episode III.

Pours a clear amber color with thin white head. Weak aroma with faint hints of malt and hops. Very watered down with subtle maltiness and a nice dry hoppy finish.

12 ounce bottle from dmac610. Pours dark red with no real head to speak of. Very strong malty aroma. Toffee. Some butterscotch notes. Very little hops. The flavor is very malty with a little bit of roast. Where are the hops? Medium body. Average carbonation. Dry malty finish. Very run of the mill. I tend to like the hoppier west coast versions.

Pours a clear but dark brown. No head really. Strong caramel and malt on the nose with a minor leaf tone barely hitting you.. Flavor is unbalanced. Way too much of a tang to it. Almost like some kind of citrus juice mixed in there. A bit of an odd liquid feel. Low carbonation. This is one to pass on. Lacks balance. Too tangy. Not really worth trying.

Really red color, with a slightly not white head, but mostly white. Malty smell, like an Irish Ale mostly. A little bit of roasted coffee, a bunch of malts, not really a lot of flavor. Rock Art doesn’t really make that good beers.

Pours with a light tan, one-finger head that goes quickly to a ring and leaves a little lace. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Deep mahogany color. Nose is almost roasted malts. Flavor is hoppy/roasted coffee with hints of caramel. $1.75 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA.

(12oz bottle) Small but creamy beige head atop clear dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, berry, some chocolate, caramel, orange. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, bread, floral, some berry, light earthy. Watery light-medium body.
