Flavor is a nice balance of malt and hops, with moderate carbonation. Despite the low ratings here, I enjoyed this one. rocbyter (926), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 17, 2006 Pours a deep reddish brown amber with an average foamy/creamy light tan head that left lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee, very malty with light hop notes. Flavor was also malty and had this copper/metallic thing going on. Also getting some toasted malts, nuts and agai some hints of hops but not much. Not sure what the metallic is all about.
