Commercial Description:
Jasmine Ale. This mysterious ale calls upon centuries of brewing and human intrigue with natural herbs. In days gone by, these beers were conjured up for many reasons and occasions. Folks consumed various natural herbs in many forms, and beer was one. It was thought that these herbs had qualities that complement everyday life. Today's connoisseur is finding that a swing back to the way it used to be is a natural cycle of life. Some of our modern ways could use a little tweaking and taking a step back into the world of Herbs is a great way to start. Enjoy this amber ale with a nice malt sweetness and just a hint of Jasmine and hops.

BOMBER. Pours an amber body with a white head. Very earthy with spruce, twig, and herbal notes. A bit of dirt and herbal floral earthy tones of lavender and jasmine. Very twiggy and dry with a bland finish. Eh.

Pours a thin layer white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Hazy amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Sweet flowery nose. Flavor is sweet, flowery and hints of hops, not nearly as hoppy as an APA. $3.99 for a 22oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

No longer will I wonder what a bouquet of flowers tastes like. It’s as if they took a bland beer and soaked in some flowers. Which probably isn’t far from the truth. At only 8 IBUs and 5% ABV, I guess they were going for something light and delicate, like flowers. I just couldn’t stand the flower flavor and wound up dumping ...

bottle. light orange brown with a thin head. perfumy wet flower scent with a bit of caramel and salt. has a bit of blueberry at first in the taste. a very light flavor overall. a bit of maple like sweetness, floral in the finish, but really this is just bland to me. i don’t think i can taste any of the jasmine, i’m getting something like ginger, maybe that is it? one of those that would be better served in a 12 oz instead of a bomber. more of a thirst quenching summer beer except it is a bit too sweet and doesn’t quench, just over stays. 4 5 4 2 8

Bottle. Spicy floral aroma. Copper body, medium off-white head. Flavor is VERY different. The jasmine is forefront, lending a distinctly floral character. But there’s also some sweet fruitiness, and the finish is soft and spicy. Interesting, and very pleasant if you’re in the mood for something unusual.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma is herbal with jasmine, citrus, and some floral hops. Flavor is malty sweetness with light caramel, subtle jasmine, floral, citrus and is slightly bitter with a thin body and a clean and refreshing finish.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, jasmine, some caramel. Tastes floral and crisp with a dry malty finish. I really like the unusual flavor and bitterness to this one. Good experiment.
