Bottle... Clear chestnut-colored ale with a small, creamy, khaki head. Decent retention. Caramel-apple nose with vinous undertones. Decently balanced, caramel-apple flavor with equal bitterness and sweetness and moderate acidity. Medium-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Crisp, grassy finish. Thanks to boboski for giving me this bomber!

Dark brown chocolate color. This beer has a hint of chocolate flavor with a hint of coffee flavor. This beer has a very think palate-little watery. Bottle.

Black licorice and hints of yeast in the aroma. Super dark mahogany body. Thin palate. Weak and wierd. Flavors are mostly roasted malt and water--definitely not a barleywine in my opinion.

I would hardly consider this to be a Barley Wine. That being said this is one of my favorite Vermont

Pours a dark brown with a quickly disapating medium cream colored head. Malty aroma with a touch of nuts and chocolate. Flavor is toasted malts and grain along with hints of cocoa, nuts, and caramel. Easy drinker for being 7.5% but deffinitely not a barleywine.

Toffee and slight molasses on the aroma. Chestnut amber in color with a fluffy eggshell head that dissipates. Fairly chewy flavor of cherries, toffee, chocolate and some roasted malts. Slightly fruity with a tinge of hops at the swallow. Not too bad - a decent drinker.
