May 9, 2008 Pours a clear amber color with thin head. Aroma of malts, hops and alcohol but all less prominent than in your average barley wine. Flavor again is similar to a barleywine yet much weaker. Niot a strong alcohol presence with more of a malty taste.

May 6, 2008 VERY THIN BODIED AND BLAND. Mix of fruity malts and yeast on the nose with hints of cinnamon. Dark amber color with a small tan head. Roasted malt taste with a slightly sharp finish.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, wood, notes of smoke - peat. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. (A bit borring). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

Apr 5, 2008 The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Courtesy of Papsoe. Dark red copper color and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, grapefruit and candy sugar. The flavour has sweetness, notes of roasted malt, grapefruit (makes the beer a bit dry) and hints of licorice. The overall impression is thin and as a BW it feels a bit simple.

Mar 30, 2008 12 fl oz bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours slight cloudy with a lacing white head. Mild mouldy and light malty aroma. Flavour has a mild bitter and slight malty note. Ends light and roasted malty with light barley classic flavours of wood and fruity malt flavours. Yet its quite thin bodied.
