Commercial Description:
We're proud to present American Dream Ale, our unique West Coast IPA, in honor of American Beer Month. We picked the finest hops from Washington's Yakima Valley to give this historic pale ale a decidedly American twist. Floral, citrus and pine character burst from the Yakima hops to mix with the crisp, slightly dry malt flavor for a never bitter ale even the snobbiest limey would love.

Pours a deep clear golden with a white head. Very nice Pacific NW hop aroma. Flavor has the usual hoppy notes of grapefruit, citrus and pine. I found that this brew was lacking in malt character. Bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Good lacing and head retention. Solid stuff. RERATE- ON TAP AT RB CHICAGO- strong grapefruit rind and cattiness in the nose (cluster hops?) Cloudy unfiltered golden orange with a white head. Flavor has notes of sweet pale malt which acts as a showcase for the grapefruit/citrus assualt. Very bitter hop finish. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation.

Had this in a growler from the King of Prussia Location. Pours a golden amber with a nice white head. Grapefruit and floral aroma with an equal grapefruit taste complimented with a piney IPA taste. Nice, rather smooth IPA. A refreshing yet hoppy summer ale.

The July special just put on tap the day I was visiting. Nice grapefruit and pine hop aroma. Very fresh and bright. Golden with a white head. Flavor is malty with an orange and pine hop taste. Finish is bitter and grassy. Medium body, dry texture. Great after a long day of walking around Chicago in 90 deg. weather. Note: This is called "American Dream IPA." I entered it wrong and sent a correction.

Sampled at Walnut Brewery, Boulder, CO. Draught. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (resin), with a note of varnish. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. It’s an IPA! It’s a floor wax! It’s an IPA! It’s a floor wax! You two, stop that! It’s BOTH!

A reasonable APA with just a little too much in the way of hops. Nice malty flavor though saves it.

Sampled @ Portland Rock Bottom. Clear orange appearance. Even balanced bitterness with a sweet caramel and fruit malt flavor. Nose is a woody and nutty experince with a dry and hearty finish. Very nice.
