SDbruboy (1822), San Diego, California, USA Jun 18, 2008 On draft from Rock Bottom La Jolla. Arrives a clear, golden-amber color with a thin, creamy white head that leaves traces of lace. Crisp, C-hop aroma, citrus rind, piney and floral notes, light grainy malts present as well. Toasty malt backbone in the flavor, with a healthy hop bite featuring astringent herbs, evergreen, grapefruit rind with white pepper in the finish. medium body with assertive carbonation. Nice little West Coast IPA from Rock Bottom. bitbucket (1566), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 11, 2008 On tap at RB Bellevue. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. Sweet aroma of grapefruit and fruit. Body is on the light side, and so is the carbonation. Lightly sweet taste with citrus, some toffee and flowers. Bitter, dry pine and floral finish. I wouldn’t complain if it had a bit more body, which would tend to make it not as dry. but all in all a good beer. BOLTZ7555 (515), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 7, 2008 On tap @ Arrowhead. This is mighty tasty!!! Nice orange blossom hop aroma. Flavor is nicely balanced between citrus and pine...just enough sweetness to counter the hop bitterness. A pretty solid offering. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Oct 15, 2007 Draft at RB-Denver during GABF weekend. Orange-amber with a thin but well-laced foamy top. Buttery maltiness, almost nutty, with moderate hoppiness. Still carbonated when almost gone. Decent if standard IPA. Definitely quaffable. (#3136, 10/12/2007)
