| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Pretty wheat aroma. This is smoother than the pils in flavor and not that wheaty. Great cloudy color. Easy drinking. riversideAK (2727), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Hazy cloudy yellow with a thin head and a lemon slice. Soft Wheaties aroma, lemon from that dreaded lemon slice as well. Lots of wheat in the flavor, soft sweetness, and a hint of crisp citrus making this a refreshing brew if it could be called anything I guess. Nothing wrong, just uninspired like the rest of the brews here. jhumphries69 (726), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Poured a very cloudy yellow with a medium-sized white head. The aroma was virtually nil. The flavor was a awfully weak - some wheat and some malts throughout and some noble hops in the finish. There were some citrus flavors from the crisp wheat and yeast, but overall not as flavorful as a good ol’ hefeweizen ought to be. Overall, this was the weakest offering in the sampler. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 I’m with you bitbucket- screw the lemon! Didn’t do a full evaluation, but definitely liked this. I’m more into low flocullation yeast Wheat beers, and this one is about as cloudy as they come. Strange aroma may turn some off, though. Thought some notes of salt were apparant, but this was a strange mix of hop flora, not obvious in the taste, fortunately. bitbucket (2033), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 9, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. It would be really nice if they asked if I wanted lemon before they parked a slice on the rim. I guess it’s automatic: if you get this style of beer you’re going to want to hide it behind something. Pours a hazy pale amber with a head that fades to nothing. Big lemony aroma - whooda thunk? Light and somewhat watery body, medium carbonation, the standard American Wheat tastes.
