On tap at the brewpub, Pours nearly clear blackish brown with a creamy tan head that leaves sheets of lace. Soft chocolate aroma with a bit of pine. Medium body and light carbonation. The taste starts out with a bit of molasses sweetness, then chocolate with some espresso, pine and a hint of chalk on the finish. Seems to come down on the robust side of the equation.
