Dark amber with small head. Nice dose of smoke/peat. Mild sweetness with a slight alcohol burn. A little too bitter of finish for the style. Solid brew.

On tap at the Bellevue location. Pours clear but very dark copper with a thin straw-colored head. Not much of nose, just a touch of caramel. Medium-light body and carbonation the same. The taste has a bit of caramel, and some peat, and some other strange estery flavor that I just can’t ID. Earthy, herbal hop finish. I guess the name is a reference to Pike and/or other "Kilt Lifters"? I’d rather go with the original.
