Cornfield (4255), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 19, 2007 Actually named A Roll In The Hay, this is a spiced up American wheat. It pours a very cloudy straw color with a substantial frothy head. The aroma is strong on the spices, especially ginger, but has a soft underlying wheat malt to it. The flavor is sweet and wheaty, the spices building beginning midway until it’s almost like talcum powder. Oddly refreshing.
