drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Sep 25, 2007 In Chicago a couple years ago. Pretty standard, unimpressive wheat. Retired at a a chain? Not a good sign. SuIIy (1405), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Sep 6, 2005 Draft in a plastic keg cup. Pours dirty gold with a small whit ehead. nose is light wheat and bananas. Taste is similar to nose, except for added water. JoshuaB (422), Detroit, Michigan, USA Sep 5, 2005 Run of the mill wheat from a sub medicore brewpub. Only reason to go here is the roof top deck. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2005 Updated: Sep 6, 2005Pours a hazy golden body with a light, bubbly head. The aroma is grainy with smatterings of citric fruits, orange with a twist of lime. It’s got a grainy flavor, sweet and tart, but with the fruits dropping into the background. The finish is a light hop bitterness and a tart twist of the citric.

iwantalambic (1385), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Mar 16, 2005 Draught: Hazed orange-pineapple below a thin ivory cream. Fruity, yeasty aroma with a hint of grain and more noticeable notes of sour malt, wheat and bananas. Light, but not quite thin palate that has a slight creaminess through the finish. Flavours are mild, un-offensive and total unremarkable with a strong flour and malt presence with far-off hops noticeable as an after-thought. Not for me, but I imagine it is a decent seller… Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 16, 2005 Hazy, opaque, golden body with a thin, off-white head. A subtle, slightly fruity aroma with light banana, sweet oranges, yeasty esters, wheat bread and a touch of subtle spice at the end. The body is fairly light, but refreshing. The flavors are pretty good, but certainly not outstanding. Slightly sweet and fruity, yeasty and just a kick of tartness at the end. The citrus element is nice and the hops are rather subtle. Not bad, but not something I want to drink often. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jan 20, 2005 Pours hazy yellow with small head. This is your typical mild wheat beer. I really don’t have much to say hear, theres just nothing to talk about. DrnkMcDermott (1831), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 8, 2003 Downtown Chicago. Seemed okay to me. The one I got was very cloudy, with a thin, lacy head. A light flavor with more wheatiness than I'd expect. Just a hint of clove of other spice, not over hopped, and with a citrsy note (that for having it without the lemon).
