Fobab VI. it says English BW and IS aged for 8mths in my program, but whatever. This, to me, is kind of the little sister to the Hungry Ale. Not as big, more subdued and less hoppy, but still a nice looking beer, Translucent dark brown. Nose is spicy and coffee, lots of vanilla. Pretty decent, but hard to have after the Angry...

Bubbly amber body with a thin off-white head. Combo of Imperial Stout and Imperial IPA. Two of my favorite styles. Nose was Bourbon, oak, citrus, coffee, caramel. Big on mouthfeel. Bourbon strong in the flavor with a nice bitter finish. Very interesting.

On tap at FoBAB 4. Poured mahogany with a medium cap of beige head. Sweet, nice bourbon blend in the aroma on top of a caramel and toffee base with some pine and citrus coming through. Overpowering bourbon in the flavor department.. past that there was a nice barley wine / aged double IPA feel with rich fruits, molasses, and herbal and pine hops... certainly got better as it warmed. Heavier on the palate with sharp bourbon in too many places to feel great. Not bad.
