Dec 13, 2009 Tap at Rock Bottom Chicago. Clear reddish pour. Small head. Nose is sweet candy and tart fruit. Taste is mild cherry and raisin. Nice brew.

Nov 13, 2009 Draft from Rock Bottom Chicago. Dark red-brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and dark candi sugars. Flavor is generically Belgian, soft banana and citrus esters. Sticky, sweet candi syrup. Falls apart a bit and is somewhat watery in the finish. Mouthfeel isn’t very Belgian, more American. Somewhat brash and crude. Still has body, though. Estery finish.

Nov 6, 2009 on tap at RB Chicago. pours hazy dark amber with white head. a fruity estery aroma with apricot, banana, and bubblegum. taste sweet and fruity with banana and peach notes, yeasty, with sturdy alcohol presence. pretty tasty and another example that Pete can do belgian beers pretty well too.
