| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2009 Draft from Rock Bottom Chicago. Dark red-brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and dark candi sugars. Flavor is generically Belgian, soft banana and citrus esters. Sticky, sweet candi syrup. Falls apart a bit and is somewhat watery in the finish. Mouthfeel isn’t very Belgian, more American. Somewhat brash and crude. Still has body, though. Estery finish.
