shigadeyo (1399), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA May 29, 2007 5/01/2007: The Cincinnati version of the Rock Bottom Vienna has a slight Mexican flare to it... Color is clear, reddish amber. It has a thin frothy head that is off-white in color. Weak malt is present in the aroma. The flavor has a bit more malt (medium level), but is comparable to that of a Mexican "Vienna" Lager rather than that of a more full true German Vienna. The malt presence is toasty in character. Medium-light body with ample carbonation. This beer is easy to drink, but is lacking depth and excitement.
20 oz draught (mug) at Rock Bottom Cincinnati complements of Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Tmoney99 (3639), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 6, 2007 Draft at brewpub at Mug Club Tapping. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate nuts and malty aroma. Medium body. Medium toasted balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is an upgrade of a standard Rock Bottom brew.
