tjthresh (1322), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Aug 24, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pour is slightly hazed golden with a pure white head. The aroma is sort of dank with a wet German noble hop character. Also a bit of a pilsner and wheat note. Quite an herbal hop flavor with a strong bitter finish that is kind of short lived. A little bit too heavy of a body, and not nearly as dry as I’d hoped. Still a pretty tasty beer. atpayne (615), Zionsville, Indiana, USA Dec 5, 2005 Very pale gold color with tight creamy white head. Very nice aroma consisting of hops and a berry fruit character. The balance between the two aromas is quite nice. A real smooth drinking pilsener. Clear fruity hops, mild but present. Nice background sweetness; a clean malt character provides body. Nice finish; crisp and refreshing. Nice balance of malt flavors, sweetness, and hop bitterness. Nicely assembled, this beer really surprised me.
