On tap at Rock Bottom Denver poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, carmel, vanilla, plum, light coffee and light roastiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and light carmel with a smooth lingering lightly sweet chocolate finish.

Draught at Rock Bottom Denver. Pours black with an average, frothy dark brown head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (caramel, chocolate, nutty), light hop (herbs), average yeast (leather) with notes of toffee. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Pours jet black w/ a huge tan thick oatmeal looking head. Full well coated creamy palate, just great mouthfeel. Aroma of mostly roast malts, some light hop presence touch of grass, chocolates, a bit of alcohol comes through as it warms. Lots of milk chocolate in the flavor light lactose some more chocolate again, almost like an imperial sweet stout, finishes w/ a lightly grassy hop, very clean. This is AMAZING. A weak nose is the only thing bad I could say about it.
