Rock Bottom Denver Happy Pils

Draft at RB-Denver. Bright and golden, lightly topped, with a pretty hoppy nose for an American pils. Big time cookie dough malt is the foundation with a decent Saazy nibble to it. (#3333, 2/21/2008)

From the bottle at Logan’s Pre-GABF party. May not have been the Warrenville product, so if anybody actually knows which brewery it came out of, let me know. Golden yellow with decent head. Aromas were weak and somewhat macro. Flavor was average with a decent crips finish. Average

Draught @ Brewery: Smells of Pils malts and hops. Poured golden in color with a medium-sized white head that diminished. Lightly sparkling. Lightly bitter flavor of Pils malts, hops, fresh cut grass, and a bit of honey. Light to medium body. Tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Bitter sweet finish. Overall, a decent summer Pils.

Draft at Rock Bottom Denver. Gold bodied. Aroma consists of light grassy notes, Euro hops and biscuity malts. Taste is malty, sweet, grassy, light citrus notes, and buttery bread. Body is crisp with a medium feel. Touch of dryness towards the end. Finishes with more grassy hops, light lemon, and biscuity malts.

Barrel Draught from the jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 01/10/2005 Clear golden coloured and hoppy. Crisp on the palate with some dryness and bitterness in the finish.
